A seven week course to explore your faith and build confidence in what you believe
This course is based on the well known alpha course and is designed for people to come and explore their own faith. There is no requirement to commit to anything but rather come and try to understand the basic aspects of Christianity. There are two target audiences. The first are those who are just starting on a faith journey. They might have little or no understanding of faith or church but there is a desire to learn more. The second group are those who are wanting to further their own understanding of faith and would like to become more confident in what they believe and how they can express their faith in a way that is comfortable to them.
How will it work?
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13
Each session will start with an informal chat and either a meal or a drink and a snack. This is time to gather together and talk about whatever is on your mind. This will be followed by a talk and some discussion points. Your are invited to join in as much or as little as you wish. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions or put forward your own views. The session will end with some quiet prayers which you are welcome to join in or just observe.
